Dawn Erickson is a writer based in the Pacific Northwest by way of Minnesota. She worked for the Forest Service as a wildland firefighter and trail builder for many years but has always been writing. She recently graduated from the Nature Writing MFA Program at Western Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado. When not writing she is out wandering the landscape.
